A Dangerous Path

ADP is a Warriors RPG site, which means we basically write stories with multiple people by posting on boards and replying to threads. The stories are based on the book series Warriors by Erin Hunter. We are a beginners' RPG, and we welcome anyone, and everyone.

NOTICE: ADP will close on Friday, January 2, 2009 through Sunday Januaray 4, 2009 for some maintenance. Admins, there will be a post in the admins' board, with more details.

Members: Please remember to put END or END THREAD when you are finished with a thread so the admins know to put it in the Archives.

Please advertise on all the sites you know, and tell all your friends about Warriors and get them to join because we obviously aren't as active anymore, so I'd really like to get new members. There is a form in the Advertising board we can use.

Some Plot info: We have now started splitting up into smaller "mini-Clans" as I like to call them. Once you have established your "mini-Clan," PM me with the members and the territory the cats live in.

CURRENT BANS:

None

There is not currently a ban on prey-hunters, but we strongly recommend you make a cave-guard instead. This is becuase there is currently only one cave-guard and one cave-guard apprentice and about five prey-hunters. Thanks.

HERE BE THE WARRIOR CODE OF THE CBOX

~ Don’t Flood / Spam
--This includes more than five times in a row per day.
--Don’t post random symbols/letters/numbers either. For example: &$DSsoijnl^#
--You may only spam on the Spam Board. It’s there for a reason.

~ Don’t Swear
--Don’t swear. Don’t say any of the obvious swear words.
--The only swear words you may use are:

Crap
Darn
Shoot
Jeez
Dang
Heck [as in what the heck]

That’s as much as I’ll allow. If I see you doing any more, then you’ll face some punishment.
--Do not say Oh my God, because I know this offends some people. However, OMG is alright. OMFG, if you know what that means, is not alright.
--Don’t use abbreviations, like wtf.
--If you say them in a different language, that’s okay, because no one will really know what you’re saying. PIG LATIN DOES NOT COUNT.

~ Don’t post something inappropriate
--I will not tolerate anything that is very gorey.
--I will also not tolerate anything that isn’t “PG.” This is for all ages, and it’s for everyone, and anyone.

~Be Respectful
--Respect the admins/global mods. They are doing their best to run this site.
--Respect others. End of story.
-- If you must criticize something, use tact, and post in the Suggestions board. It’s there for a reason.
--You may not “throw” things, unless if it’s light, and will not cause damage, i.e. a pillow. Violence is not the answer to our problems.
--Please don’t fight or intentionally offend people in the cBox. Try and settle it with PMs; if you can’t, send a PM to me, or the other admins and we’ll try to work it out. But I don’t like getting into other people’s fights, so try to settle it yourselves.

~ Don’t be obnoxious about your advertising
--Don’t flood the cbox with your website address.
--Don’t say, “Click my name!” a gazillion times.
--What IS allowed: “Hey, my site, _________, is in need of members. Please join! *web address here* ”

If I [Stormstar] or any of the other admins/mods (Rainfire, Skye) catch you breaking on of these rules, then you may be subject to punishment or banishment from the cBox. I am ultimately in charge of the cBox, so I judge the severity of the punishment / crime.

Here are some of the groups of cats: Old RiverClan-- Embersky, Crystalpaw, Ripplepaw, Sandpaw, Streamfur, Waterfur Old ShadowClan-- Sandstripe, Nightkit, Frostkit, Foxkit, Snakekit, Coralpaw, Mistflower The Wanderers-- Rainfire, Aurora, Aria, Pebble, Hazelcloud, Mudpaw Weather CURRENT MOON lunar phases For a Twoleg, it is winter, when snow falls and temperatures are often below freezing. All Twolegs are wearing heavy jackets, scarves, and gloves to keep warm. For a Clan cat, it is leaf-bare and snow is falling. All the trees except the evergreens have lost thir leaves and water is frozen solid. Whitecough and greencough are a threat and prey is scarce. For a Tribe Cat, we don't know the season. Oh well, it doesn't make too much difference anyway. Plot Info The Clans have been living by the lake for generations, but now their leaders and deputies have been brutally killed by a mysterious gang of assassins. The cats have lost their order and are in chaos... Constantly fighting for territory, food and power, these warriors have forgotten the Clan warrior's way, and ignored the warrior code. Some still remain faithful, but they too, have little hope, for StarClan, their powerful warrior ancestors, have remained silent, sending only one puzzling prophecy. However, StarClan is not totally ignoring them. They have selected four cats, each born to a pair formerly of each Clan, respectively. Four who are destined, with the guidance of StarClan, to uncover the secrets of the deaths, expose the murderers, and restore peace to the lake. However, these four are not sure of their job. Will they be able to fufill their destiny? Or will the lake be drowned in blood forever? ===== The kits of the prophecied four have birthed. ===== The clans have almost completely seperated. Clan boundaries have melted, with cats from different clans mingling with each other. Some cats have even joined groups with rouges! ===== Its heart will die, Its lifeblood will spill and scatter Until lifeblood it is no more.
